Watch for deer. They are here year round.
The wild turkey are here year round too.

Titmice and Cardinals are here in the winter.
The Banded Hairstreak and Cloudless Sulfur are here all summer.
Great Spangled Fritillary and Zebra Swallowtail butterflies are here too.
Hummingbird Hawk Moths can be seen from May to June.
Praying mantis and wheel bugs can be seen in the fall. Both are beneficial! In late spring the turtles like to warm up on the roads. Watch for the locals as you drive through the park.
