| Brownsville All of the restaurants are located on HWY 259. Brownsville's two chain restaurants are Dairy Queen and Subway. Below is a list of some of the local Mom and Pop restaurants. Berties is a little walk up hamburger joint. They have good hamburgers and soft serve ice cream. Mis Amigos is excellent TEX MEX. Some of the best TEX Mex we have found north of Texas. Mis Amigos is on the right after crossing the Green river bridge. 270-597-9105 Old School Barbeque has good homemade BBQ Pizza and Paradise enjoy the buffet or order an individual item.

Cave City Located at exit 53 off I65. There are many chain restaurants and local places in Cave City. A lot of the chain restaurants can be seen from the highway. Pig Porky Pig Diner Is the only thing in the town of Pig. This is the place to go to if you want to meet some of the local folks. Good down home cooking. Famous for their pulled pork and Manhattan roast beef. Very casual, can be smoky Closes at 5:00 PM on Sunday
