Caves

There are many caves in and around the area to enjoy. Mammoth Cave is known as a dry cave. Some of the other caves that have rivers and streams running through them. All of the caves have some beautiful and interesting points of interest.

Mammoth Cave National Park

Mammoth Cave

During high season it is best to make advance reservations for your Mammoth cave tour. If you do not,you may not get the tour you want. Visit www.RECREATION.GOV or call 1-877-444-6777. If you do not make advance cave tour reservation you may not get the tour you want.

Diamond Caverns

Diamond Caverns is one of the prettiest caves around. The guides make the tour informative and interesting.

Lost River Cave

Is the only cave tour in the area given in a boat. The guides make this tour interesting. Be sure to duck when getting in the boat.It is best to call in the event of heavy rain. This cave closes when the water is to high.

Cub Run Cave

Cub Run Cave was closed for many years. It reopened in July of 2006. Cub Run is filled with beautiful formations.

Kentucky Caverns is located at Kentucky Down Under. This cave has some beautiful rainbow colored formations.
